The role of the fuel and energy complex in the innovative transformation of the Russian economy

The article discusses current issues related to the urgent need for the innovative transformation of the Russian economy. Identified current trends and prospects of development of world and domestic energy. Examines the state of the fuel and energy complex of Russia and its role in the economy. Reflects indicators characterizing the level of innovative activity in the energy industries. Substantiates the assumption that one of the drivers of innovative transformations of the domestic economy may become fuel and energy complex.
