Comparative analysis of the crimes against family and minors committed by means of violence under existing criminal legislation of Russia and CIS countries

In the work the author analyzes and compares the norms of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on crimes against the family and minors committed through violence (part 1 and 3 of article 150, part 1 and 3 of article 151, art.156 of the Criminal Code), with similar provisions contained in the Criminal Codes of the countries – participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Common and distinctive features are revealed in the criminal legal regulation of the protection of minors against socially dangerous assaults committed through violence in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Codes CIS countries. On the basis of comparative analysis of the findings, which can be used to improve the current Russian criminal legislation.
