The accessibility of medical care as a way of realization of the constitutional right to health care: regulatory support in the Russian context

The article considers the importance of accessibility of medical care for the realization of the constitutional right to health protection. The latter can be economic, organizational, territorial. Nevertheless, in Russia, in recent years, there have been difficulties in providing various options for access to medical care. The author draws attention to the problem of actual access to specialized medical care for patients with severe kidney disease and makes an attempt to fill regulatory gaps in its legislative control.
