The category "working time" in assessing the effectiveness of a teacher at a university

The factor of development of innovative economy and production is science, human capital and, above all, its intellectual component. The integration of education, science and production is called upon to ensure the process of structural changes in modern universities, including the formation of the "teacher-university" relationship according to the principles of an effective contract. In the article the main approaches to the definition of the phenomenon "efficiency of professional activity" are considered, the function of the category "working time" is defined in the effective contract of the teacher. Facts are given that testify to the need to take into account the teaching load of the teacher in assessing its effectiveness and provide recommendations for implementing such an approach
