The object of the crime under article 264 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation: problem statement

The need to ensure the safety of traffic and operation of vehicles, legal provisions emerged in the mid-twentieth century. The relevance of this issue in the modern world has only increased, due to the improvement of vehicles, increasing their speed characteristics and quantitative increase. This need is met by a system of organizational measures and legal means, where criminal legislation has a well-defined role to play. The article attempts to analyze the problems of criminal law protection of road safety and operation of vehicles from the perspective of the modern view of law enforcement practice and the doctrine of criminal law on the object of the crime under article 264 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation.
