Methodology of evaluation of the integrated index of the technological structure in the context of the impact of the technological setups on the formation and functioning of integration processes (NAFTA, EAEU)

The article deals with the problem of the practical feasibility of the formation and functioning of an integration association. Based on the example of NAFTA and the EAEU, an integrated index of the technological structure has been calculated for both individual countries of integration associations and the entire association as a whole. If the structure of technological setups in the integration association is practically the same (NAFTA), then the integrated index of the technological setup is higher than that in case of the different level of technological development of the member countries (EAEU). At the same time, it is concluded that the increase in the number of countries in the integration alignment does not necessarily form a healthier composition of the technological structures in the leading countries of the association and throughout the association as a whole.
