The article considers the substantive side of the legislative definition of the concept of «medical worker» in the light of amendments and additions to the federal law «Оn Fundamentals of health protection of citizens in the Russian Federation». Based on structural and logical analysis of the forms of professional medical activity, as well as the conditions of its licensing, the conclusion is made that it is necessary to clarify and specify the conditions for classifying persons as medical workers on the legal level.
