Russian food embargo: consequences, prospects of development of Russian market APK

The embargo on food products has put domestic producers in the conditions of further development of the course of import substitution. A key factor in ensuring the balance of the domestic market is the dynamic development of domestic agricultural production, raw materials and food and the substitution of imported products. The article studies the impact of the embargo imposed by the Russian Federation on the import of agricultural products, raw materials and food products, the country of origin of which are the United States of America, the European Union, Canada, Australia, the Kingdom of Norway, on changes in the Russian market of agricultural products. To solve the issues of import substitution of agricultural products, it is necessary to study the regional problems of sustainable development of rural areas, taking into account the peculiarities of rural development, including the improvement of the system of instruments of state regulation of foreign economic activity for the import of agricultural products
