Azerbaijani model of cumulative funds

The article studies the establishment and key activity directions of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and reviews the factors that necessitated the establishment of the fund. The author notes that it was established on the basis of international experience and local characteristics. Citing primary sources such as the annual reports of the Fund, the article attempts to study the process of formation of its currency reserves, characterize the principles and key lines of activity, and show the role of the fund's assets in ensuring the financial independence of the country.
