State regulation of environmental safety at the regional level: the experience of European countries and France

The article is devoted to the study of the European experience of state regulation of environmental safety. Separate emphasis is placed on the structure and hierarchy of the bodies included in the management system. Their tasks, tools and mechanisms for the implementation of environmental policies are also reviewed. Particular attention is paid to the experience of France and the achievements of this country in the field of environmental safety.
