the monitoring role in management of the cost of the enterprise as one of option of decrease in risk of incorrect assessment of a condition of the company, her opportunities and prospects in the corresponding market is considered in this article. The characteristic of a concept of cost of the company is given (actual, market), features of her formation and calculation are defined. Distinctions when determining cost proceeding from basic parameters of her assessment are revealed. The management role is defined during monitoring, the main characteristics of competent management are revealed. On several examples the role of monitoring of management and formation of cost of the enterprise is shown.
