The history of the formation of the institute of compensation for moral damages in the Russian legislation

The article discusses the establishment of the institute of moral damage compensation in the legislation of Russia in different historical periods, from the perspective of the state, legal experts regarding the ethics of compensation for damage caused by infringement of intangible benefits of citizens and legal persons, the legality of its evaluation, the expediency of its criteria and effectiveness of collection methods of compensation payments from the time of ancient Russia at the moment.
