Forming an Innovation Field of the Arctic in the Current Conditions

The article considers the main aspects of state policy on innovation activity in the Arctic region of Russia. An assessment is made of the cur-rent conditions of geopolitical and economic rivalry in developing the Far North resources. The parameters of institutional regulation and the poten-tial of the region’s social and economic area, the opportunities and risks of a business innovative development are explored. The key processes of forming an innovative field of the country’s arctic zone in the current con-ditions are determined.
