Actual problems of housing and legal relations and prospects for their solution in Russia

The article contains a brief historical and legal analysis of the ways and results of providing citizens with accommodation at various stages of socioeconomic development in the Soviet period and in the recent history of Russia. Analyzing the results and achievements in the field of housing construction, the authors note that despite the results achieved, the problem of providing Russians with affordable comfortable housing remains topical. The article analyzes in detail the novels of housing legislation aimed at creating hired houses, which, according to the plan of the legislator, should be a new way of meeting the housing needs of a certain category of Russian citizens.
