The relevance of this article is due to several key trends in social and economic development: integration cross-border processes in the socio-economic sphere, digitalization and internationalization of international trade, the rapprochement of Russia and China against the background of the need to move from a unipolar to a multipolar world. The purpose of the article is to study the impact and possibilities of commercial use of the Internet on the development and interaction of subjects of humanitarian exchanges between China and Russia in a cross-border space. All this is accompanied by the motivation of China, using the potential of cross-border cooperation, to revive leadership through the creation of the Silk Road Economic Belt. In such conditions, it becomes important to strengthen humanitarian exchanges in the sphere of Russian-Chinese activity. Issues addressed in this article include the development of mechanisms and the harmonization of the format of humanitarian cooperation between the countries concerned; addressing practical issues such as the impact of online business on them; prospects for an “equal partnership” in Chinese-Russian relations.
