Pension assets management: clarification of basic definitions

before analyzing something, it's important to determine the basic categories. In this regard, the article attempted of formulating of the basic concepts, which are used in the study of processes of management of pen-sion facilities. In particular, the author emphasizes a narrow, wide and ex-tremely broad interpretation of the concept of management of pension assets, accordingly, referring it to the processes of direct investment of pension facilities into officially authorized assets, to the processes of corporate management and to the pension system as a whole. Similarly made clarifications in relation to the concept of «investing». With regard to the modern Russian pension system disclosed the concept of «pension assets».
