Current standard requirements for the quality of cosmetic salts for bathing do not fully reflect the expectations of consumers. Such properties as the intensity and nature of the smell of the salt in the package, the saturation of colour and smell of the salt solution, the presence of sufficiently large crystalline fractions of salt, making its complete dissolution difficult for some time - all of this leads to a decrease of quality and consumer properties. All these things certainly also affect consumer preferences, but they are not included in the current standards. In this article proposals are made to expand the nomenclature of quality indicators of salts for bathing, as well as proposed and tested possible methods of their determination.
Keywords:cosmetic products for bathing, cosmetic salts, salt solutions, consumer properties and quality indicators, colour saturation, odor intensity, inclusions of natural origin, dispersed composition.
