Improving the criteria for assessing the sustainable development of an economic entity based on the requirements of stakeholders

The paper discusses the basic criteria for assessing the sustainable development of an economic entity based on the requirements of stakeholders. The main scientific approaches for the category of “sustainable development”, presented in the works of leading economists, were also considered. It has been determined that the development and implementation of a sustainable development strategy of an economic entity within a stakeholder approach implies the improvement of a system of criteria and indicators. It is proposed to group the criteria and indicators of sustainable development of the economic entity in terms of economic, social and environmental components of the activity. The main criteria for assessing sustainable development from the point of view of the stakeholder approach are determined.
