Improving the forensic methodology for investigating abuses in the procurement of goods, work, services to meet state and municipal needs

The article is devoted to the issues of the formation and improvement of the criminalistic methodology for investigating crimes under Article 200.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. As one of the reasons for the practice of criminal prosecution under this article, the author emphasizes the insufficient development of the criminalistic methodology for investigating these crimes. The difficulties that the investigator may encounter when investigating procurement abuses are identified. Suggestions are made of a methodical nature, which allow optimizing pre-trial criminal proceedings.
