Consumer loan and its role at the modern stage of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation

Consumer lending, embodying an important functional, in the Russian economy has its own characteristics. These features are predetermined by the nature of the socio-economic situation in the Russian Federation, expressed in the deepening social inequality and instability of positive economic dynamics. Despite the insignificant average level of debt burden on Russian citizens, this indicator has a tendency to increase in relation to citizens with low incomes. he current situation requires the implementation of appropriate measures in the field of macro-prudential regulation. However, as shown in the article, these measures are not enough to increase the potential impact of consumer lending on the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation
