Prerequisites for the creation of special administrative districts in the Russian Federation and certain features of legal regulation in the conditions of these areas of activity of business entities

This article analyzes the prerequisites for the creation of special administrative districts in Russia as a tool for stimulating and deoffshorizing the economy, as well as considers the legal regulation of business entities in the territories of the Russian Federation, for which the status of a special administrative region applies. Special administrative districts in modern Russia represent a completely new innovative element in the political and economic infrastructure of the country. Since one of the main tasks in the establishment of special administrative districts (ATS) in the Russian Federation is not just the accelerated socio-economic and infrastructure development of the territories thus allocated, but the development, taking into account the geopolitical situation of special administrative regions, and the general increase in investments into the domestic economy, including the return of capital of Russian origin, the consideration of the prerequisites for the establishment of special administrative regions and legal mechanisms governing business activities within the borders of these territories is of direct practical interest.
