This article analyzes the changes that have occurred in the field of regulation of cross-border contractual relations with the participation of consumers due to the development of electronic commerce and ICT (information and telecommunication technologies). The concept of "transnational online contracts." It is analyzed how the “digital element” affects the characteristics of contractual relations. The article draws attention to the fact that new ways of concluding contracts have led to the emergence of new approaches to the qualification of certain individual aspects of contractual relations. In particular, this refers to determining the moment of conclusion of an agreement, evaluating the validity of online contracts, delimiting an offer and an invitation to offer in an online collaboration environment, as well as evaluating online dispute resolution mechanisms. The article was prepared based оn the results оf studies carried оut оn the state order оf the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation at the expense of budgetary funds.
