Energy exchange trading on Russian exchanges: successes and challenges

The article presents an analysis of the ten-year development of energy exchange trade in Russia. The author identifies the factors that ensure the growth of exchange trade, and the measures that market regulators and the exchange community have taken to increase the share of exchange trade in the domestic energy market. Commenting on the situation in the markets of petroleum products, oil and natural gas, the author assesses the latest statistics, noting the existing problems and ways to solve them.
