Criteria of efficiency of investments in nuclear industry

the Problem of maintaining a viable alternative to nuclear energy in the world energy market dictates the need to ensure its competitiveness in traditional energy sources. The criteria for the efficiency of investments in the nuclear industry depend on many factors. However, to date, both in theory and in practice, more attention is paid to the quantitative factors of investment efficiency in the nuclear industry than to the qualitative factors. In this article, the author proves that the assessment of the potential of certain qualitative criteria of investment efficiency in the nuclear industry affects the reduction of capital in the construction of nuclear power plants, as well as the competitiveness of the nuclear industry as a whole.
