The management of each organization, building internal work processes, should be aware that its successful functioning is impossible without its main and main resource – employees. In modern management science, it’s already an axiom that very much depends on the enterprise’s personnel and, above all, the final result of the organization’s work. In this scientific article, its authors determine the essence of classical and behavioral methods of personnel management, emphasizing both their positive and negative characteristics. The work touched upon and revealed administrative, economic, socio-psychological methods of management, their comprehensive assessment was given.
