Problems of the forests of Moscow region

The article provides an overview of the state of the Moscow region's forests today. The change of species and age composition of forests is considered. The main reasons for the reduction of the forest fund of the Moscow region are given. The effect on the reduction of forest area covered with bark beetles, fires, commercial construction, and other factors.
