The research aims to assess the level of development potential of the regions of the North Caucasus Federal district, to characterize the degree of efficiency of its use, to identify features and patterns of socio-economic development of the regions, to search for and implement methodological approaches to objectively assess the development potential, and to identify priority areas for their further development.
