SWOT analysis of the transport company

This article is devoted to the SWOT analysis of Russian Railways. This type of analysis of the activities of modern companies has long proved its effectiveness, and therefore, the practice of conducting it in relation to domestic organizations of various forms of ownership has become widespread. The article discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the company's activities, development opportunities and threats, which are analyzed on the basis of a generalized description of the company's advantages, disadvantages, environment and advantages. The influence of the external and internal environment on the company's activities, as well as on the formation of threats and advantages, is analyzed, and then a generalized SWOT analysis of the company is formed. The results of the analysis reveal the main negative aspects in the company's activities, which are caused by a fairly wide set of factors, including the technological lag of the Russian Federation as a whole. As a result, the main threats and weaknesses are formulated, which determines the key directions of development and modernization. It is noted that the elimination of negative factors is an objective necessity, because otherwise the modernization of railway transport and its effective economic development is hardly possible.
