Digitalization: the role and significance for the population of regions and the first problems of implementation in municipal management

In this article, the authors discuss issues related to the formation and development of digitalization of state municipal bodies in the subjects of the Federation. The role and importance of popularization of public services for the population through information and communication technologies is proved. The authors performed a retrospective analysis of the dynamics of development and use of municipal information portals in order to obtain services or request open official information. The level of satisfaction with municipal services received in this way in various regions of the country is also given. The result of the study is an assessment of digital inequality in Russia and shows that at the moment the digitalization gap is regionally insignificant.
