Social entrepreneurship in United Kingdom: features and directions of development

Object: The aim of this work is to analyze the social entrepreneurship development in United Kingdom, identify its characteristic features and directions of development. Methods: to achieve the stated goal the methods of scientific knowledge were used: analysis of theoretical sources, analysis of regulatory legal acts, causal analysis, classification, and structural and functional analysis, abstraction, analysis, synthesis, and description Findings: The analysis of the experience of social entrepreneurship development in United Kingdom made it possible to state that it occupies a certain niche and is the subject of providing social services, solves various problems of society. Conclusions: The social entrepreneurship sector is quite young and provides opportunities for innovation and growth. Its activities are diverse, creative, and focused on socially important areas.
