Features of technological windows of opportunities for innovative development of petrochemical enterprises in a downturn

The article is devoted to the study of the current problem of economic development, in particular the petrochemical sector, in the context of the current crisis triggered by the pandemic. The purpose of the article is to identify the specifics of technological Windows of opportunities in relation to the petrochemical industry in the context of the global crisis. The research uses the method of a systematic approach, which reveals the conceptual apparatus from the position of institutionalism, provides an analytical review of theoretical approaches to the subject under study, and presents the results of research on practical aspects of the implementation of technological Windows of opportunity. As a result, technological Windows of opportunities for innovative development of petrochemical enterprises in the context of the global crisis, as well as inhibitors that prevent overcoming the separation of «catching up» subjects from developed ones, were identified.
