The system of preventive measures in the Russian criminal proceedings

The article analyzes the system of preventive measures in the Russian criminal proceedings to determine its criminal procedural nature and substance. At the same time, essential features are highlighted: the purpose, grounds, bases of application, subjects and objects of application, the order of application and the essence of the measures themselves, that is, what they are. In addition, the article analyzes the grounds and conditions for the selection of preventive measures, presents various classifications of measures and gives an author's definition of preventive measures.
