Analysis of legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence in the EU

Object: conducting a specialized study focused on analyzing the proven approaches to legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the EU). Findings: approaches to the legal regulation of the use of artificial intelligence in the EU are disclosed, gaps in legal regulation that contribute to the inhibition of legal and social development are noted, the formation of the legal mentality of citizens in relation to artificial intelligence technologies is indicated, ways of harmonizing the gaps in legal regulation by means of globalization are proposed. Conclusions: by accelerating the development of legal regulation of artificial intelligence technologies by recognizing it as conventional software with a special way of forming a computational algorithm for data processing, as well as eliminating speculations about the possibility of self-awareness in such a technology, while strengthening international dialogue, for example, with dynamic high-tech clusters in the USA, South Korea, China and Russia will allow the European Union to accelerate the adoption of generally understood principles for the regulation and enforcement of such technology.
