Genesis of legal awareness

The article reveals the natural sequence of the appearance of a special form of legal thinking-legal awareness in the legal sphere of public life. Its main source-the contradiction between the essential elements of law and legal reality determines the goals of legal awareness – knowledge of the actual content of law and bringing the sphere of external existence of law in accordance with it. The special role of legal science and legal education as the main forms of legal awareness in this process is determined.
