Strategy for the development of air transport in the globalized world economy

The article deals with the issues of strategic planning of air transport in the context of globalization. The current planning practice in Russia is compared with the experience of the United States and India. There are bottlenecks in the strategic planning of air transport, in particular, the lack of a strategic audit (control) system. A special place in the article is given to the draft Transport strategy for the period up to 2035, and recommendations are given for finalizing a new version of the Transport strategy.
