Subject of criminal regulation from the position of the categories of general, special and single

The article analyzes the concept of the subject of criminal law regulation, presented in the science of criminal law in Russia. The author focuses on the relationship between industry and general theoretical interpretation of the subject of criminal law, reveals the shortcomings of the existing definitions of this concept. The categories of general, special and singular set the rule according to which the subject of criminal law regulation is determined within the framework of a general theoretical understanding of the subject of the branch of law. Based on this, the author's interpretation of the volume and content of the subject of the branch of criminal law is proposed.
