On the history of the role of the prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation in coordinating the activities of law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime

The relevance of the study is determined by the need to study the history of coordination of the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in the activities of law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime from the time of the USSR to the present, since the reforms of the prosecutor's office urgently require creative use of the experience of past years to improve the functioning of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation in modern conditions. The work is devoted to the history of this direction in the activities of the prosecutor's office in the fight against crime, allowing us to draw correct conclusions about the place of this law enforcement body in the system of state bodies, and aimed at its further effective improvement. Individual problems in the organization of the prosecutor's office's work on coordination of activities are identified, and suggestions are made on ways to eliminate them. In conclusion, the authors emphasize the conclusion about the effectiveness of coordinating the activities of the prosecutor's offices of the subjects of the Federation in developing common goals and coordinated actions on key issues of combating crime, reflected in the regional Programs for combating crime.
