Differentiation of criminal liability for incitement to suicide under the Criminal code of the Russian Federation

this article considers the features of differentiation of responsibility for bringing to suicide as a criminal offense against life and health; the criteria and characteristics underlying the imposition of sanctions for the act under investigation; The ways in which the act was committed and how the role of the offender in bringing the victim to suicide was defined. It is the method and identity of the offender that determine the degree of responsibility for the analysed crime. On the example of other States, measures of responsibility for suicide have been considered and it has been concluded that there is a need to strengthen liability under article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in order to reduce the total number of suicidal acts.
