Prohibition of certain actions — an alternative measure of restraint in the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the prerequisites that contributed to the introduction of a new measure of restraint in the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. It is proved that this preventive measure serves as an alternative to such preventive measures as bail, house arrest and detention. The objectives of this preventive measure are specified.
