Some issues of state regulation in the field of forest management

The article is devoted to some issues that arise in the process of public administration in the field of forest management. The author focuses on the fact that currently there is a search for solutions at the state level to develop legal mechanisms and means to improve the effectiveness of state regulation in the forest industry. It is noted that the main direction of this activity is the expansion of the licensing and control powers of the federal executive authorities. In addition, the author focuses on problematic issues in the field of forest management that need to be resolved at the state level, including economic and legal issues. Specific measures are proposed to overcome these negative aspects. In particular, it is indicated that special attention should be paid to measures aimed at protecting and protecting forest resources from negative natural phenomena, as well as from illegal activities related to wood harvesting. In the article, the author makes a number of proposals for improving the regulatory framework that forms the legal basis for the activities of entities engaged in the timber industry.
