The body of inquiry as a subject of procedural verification

This article examines the issues related to the procedural activities of inquirers, (heads) of bodies of inquiry and heads of departments of inquiry at the stage of initiation of a criminal case. The readers ' attention is drawn to the legislative shortcomings of the norms of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, which regulate the range of participants in the procedural audit, the quality and quality of the information and documents obtained within its framework, which often require repeated re-registration (duplication) at the stage of preliminary investigation.
