The legal status of a political party as a subject of the electoral process at the level of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation

The article deals with issues of legal regulation of political parties participation in the electoral process at the level of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The author analyzes advantages and disadvantages of various electoral systems. The results of elections with the use of a mixed electoral system are compared on the example of the elections to the Murmansk regional Duma.
