The object of the study is the reproduction of labor force. The subject of the study is a set of conditions that determine the quality of labor force reproduction in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the study is to determine the quality of labor force reproduction in the Arctic. The objectives of the study: substantiation of the conditions characterizing the quality of labor force reproduction in Arctic conditions. The research method: dialectical method of researching the quality of labor force reproduction. The hypothesis of the study: against the background of the aging of the labor force, the outflow of labor from the settlements which are beyond the polar circle continues. In the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, there is a possible shortage of personnel in promising professions necessary for a new technological order. There are objective contradictions that limit the possibility of transition from a simple to an extended reproduction of labor. The novelty of the study.
