On the issue of violation of the adversarial principle of parties in criminal proceedings

This article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of implementing the principle of adversarial parties in criminal proceedings. The authors draw attention to the existence of the established negative practice of violating one of the fundamental principles of criminal procedure and possible ways to overcome the existing system of application of the norms of criminal procedure legislation by the bodies of preliminary investigation, the prosecutor's office and the court that violate the rights and interests of participants in criminal proceedings.
