The relevance of criminological analysis of crimes committed using front persons is due to the need to understand the main factors of crime growth in various spheres of public life and the role of formally legitimate organizations in the commission of crimes. The current state of economic crime is characterized by high latency. One of the ways to ensure latency is the activity of criminals through front persons. The scale of the use of figureheads in crimes is now truly impressive. At the same time, in the practice of countering these crimes, there is no necessary characteristic of determinants, which in turn hinders the implementation of crime prevention with the involvement of nominal persons. The basis for the successful fight against criminal activity carried out through front persons is a built-up system of general social prevention in matters of eliminating the causes that affect the criminalization of the economic system. It is also important to have a well-developed legislative framework and law enforcement practice regulating the procedure for the creation, functioning and liquidation of legal entities. It is also important to establish cooperation between regulatory and law enforcement agencies on the exchange of information about the activities of certain organizations that arouse suspicion.
