Legal basis for the control activities of regional executive authorities on issues of social importance

Control activity is an integral part of public administration, especially in the context of additional social obligations. In this regard, the purpose of the work was to study the legal foundations for the control activities of regional executive authorities that are authorized to conduct and implement the social policy of the state. The subject of the study was regional executive authorities powers in matters of control activities and the powers of state institutions subordinate to him. Regulatory legal acts of the federal and regional levels, internal documents of the relevant institutions were considered. Based on the results of the analysis, the features of the interaction of organs, possible points for their growth were derived. The article will be useful for authors interested in issues of management and interaction between the regional and local levels of government in terms of control (supervisory) functions, including as an example of joint management activities.
