in this article discusses the feasibility and necessity of applying the theory of constraints and a systems approach for effective management of digital business transformation. This approach allows company's management to focus its attention on the strategic parts of the system, to cope with uncertainty by introducing appropriate protective mechanisms in the most critical areas, both within the system and outside it. Expectations from digital business transformation projects will materialize only with a well-organized project and its implementation. For the successful implementation of a digital business transformation project, the theory of constraints provides the necessary tools, such as current reality tree, future reality tree, the strategy and tactics tree.
