Typical situations of the initial phase of the investigation of petty theft in the form of theft committed by a person subjected to administrative punishment

This article deals with the problem of the lack of a methodology for investigating a crime under Art. 1581 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The idea of the need to develop typical situations that arise during the investigation of the analyzed corpus delicti is substantiated. The article explores the categories of forensic science: "typical investigation situations" and "typical investigative situations". A comparison is given to these categories, as well as an analysis of the views of researchers regarding them. Particular attention is paid to the varieties of typical situations that arise in the investigation of crimes under Art. 1581 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The author comes to the conclusion that there are three options for typical situations in the investigation of the considered corpus delicti. The main features of each situation are identified and described. An attempt was made to formulate an algorithm of actions of the interrogator for each situation. It is stated that it is necessary to develop typical situations when planning the investigation of a criminal case in order to effectively conduct investigative and other procedural actions.
