The identity of the offender as an element of the forensic characteristics of the smuggling of alcoholic products and (or) tobacco products

The article considers the main aspects related to the forensic portrait of the personality of the offender as an element of the forensic characteristics of smuggling, which is an economic crime in the customs sphere. As part of this study, an analysis of judicial practice was carried out in order to identify the characteristics characteristic of a criminal who has committed the smuggling of alcoholic beverages and (or) tobacco products. The most significant personality traits that are characteristic of persons committing the considered type of smuggling are revealed.
