Transformation of the pension system of the Russian Federation

This article examines the historical aspect of the formation and transformation of the pension system in the Russian Federation. The author studies the reasons of low ratings international indexes of pension system of the Russian Federation, analyzes the conditions of pension provision of citizens in foreign countries whose pension systems currently occupy leading positions in international indices. The indicators of adopting and quality transformation of the pension system of the Russian Federation proposed, which based on possibilities of the long-term stability of it and maintain the replacement rate at a level more than 40%.
